कंप्यूटर की पीढियां Generations of Computer (कंप्यूटर की पीढियां) सन् 1946 में प्रथम इलेक्‍ट्रॉनिक डिवाइस, वैक्‍यूम ट्यूब (Vacuum Tube) युक्‍त एनिएक कम्‍प्‍यूटर की शुरूआत ने कम्‍प्‍यूटर के विकास को एक आधार प्रदान किया कम्‍प्‍यूटर के विकास के इस क्रम में कई महत्‍वपूर्ण डिवाइसेज की सहायता से कम्‍प्‍यूटर ने आज तक की यात्रा तय की। इस विकास के क्रम को हम कम्‍प्‍यूटर में हुए मुख्‍य परिवर्तन के आधार पर निम्‍नलिखित पॉंच पीढि़यों में बॉंटते हैं:- कम्‍प्‍यूटरों की प्रथम पीढ़ी (First Generation Of Computer) :- 1946-1956 कंप्यूटर की प्रथम पीढ़ी की शुरुआत सन् 1946 में एकर्ट और मुचली के एनिएक (ENIAC-Electronic Numerical Integrator And Computer) नामक कम्‍प्‍यूटर के निर्माण से हुआ था इस पीढ़ी के कम्‍प्‍यूटरों में वैक्‍यूम ट्यूब का प्रयोग किया जाता था जिसका आविष्‍कार सन् 1904 John Ambrose Fleming ने किया था इस पीढ़ी में एनिएक के अलावा  और भी कई अन्‍य कम्‍प्‍यूटरों का निर्माण हुआ जिनके नाम एडसैक (EDSEC – Electronic Delay Storage Automatic Calculator), एडवैक (EDVAC – Electronic Discrete...
